A single stalk of bamboo featured on a diamond format.
Found in diverse climates, native bamboo can be found across Asia, Australia, India, Africa and the Americas. Some species can gain as much as 36 inches of height in 24 hours, quickly creating tall stands and lush forests of natural habitat. Utilized for timber, textiles and paper, it is a prized commodity in many cultures. Due to it's growing pattern, it is considered a symbol of unity and friendship in India. This art would make a lovely statement gift to a valuable companion.
The repurposed glass is hand trimmed to 3.25" x 3.25".
LIGHT CATCHERS: Our glass has a unique way of handling light and the most popular way of seeing it is through our Light Catchers. With an almost endless collection of nature inspired designs, these squares and rectangles of repurposed window glass can fit in almost anywhere... a window, a porch, a mirror, even a tree. The glass is handcut to fit the original artwork, balanced on the handmade mold and then kiln fired for at least 9 hours. To finish the piece, it is hand drilled, secured to a silver swirl hook and then gift boxed. Ideal for collectors and those who appreciate the uncommon gift.
